Why Roman did not use a special love from his subjects? Is it only because they did not like the usurpers? The point is that the available his dignity could not capture the popular imagination. He was neither a great warrior or a great legislator. He rarely appeared in public, and never really wanted to organize the spectacle on the racetrack. In other words, while most Roman did a lot for people to be provided with bread, it clearly nedobiral with spectacles. Accordingly, people remembered - if at all thought about such things - the only bright fragment of the life of this intelligent, but surprisingly colorless man, his path to the throne. And he also remembered this way, and with such a feeling of remorse, that his last years were spent in incessant torment. I would like to think that he died to finally sobering soul and that his sins are forgiven.
