The next time a certificate of distributing samizdat in Latvia - also on the Russian samizdat. A resident of Riga, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Lev Ladyzhenskii and engineer Fyodor Korovin were arrested in December 1973 for possession and distribution of samizdat, since 1966goda and until his arrest. They have seized more than 50 titles, roughly the same set, which went to while in Moscow and Leningrad, including the "Chronicle of Current Events". However, among the involved in this case was not a single Latvian. All searches in the case Ladyzhensky in Riga (about 10) were produced in the range of "invaders". In addition, the case-Ladyzhensky Korovin interrogations were conducted in Moscow and Leningrad, where they, in their admission, received samizdat. Sometimes Latvian and Russian samizdat crossed - some searches found, and he and the other, for example, in Riga, in Latvian, a former political prisoner Victor Kalnins, but in large part, these flows have been separated only because Russian living in Latvia, rarely know the Latvian language, and few of them are interested in the problems of Latvians enough to put themselves at risk for involvement in their uncensored literature. According to the case-Ladyzhensky Korovin, they lived in Riga, were closely associated with Moscow and Leningrad samizdatchikami than Latvians, among whom they lived.
