Stricter repressive policy was manifested in the increase in female arrests. Previously, they were rare, especially in Moscow, which is most visible. Here, from 1968 to 1978 it was 9 th women's arrests. Only one of them ended in camp for a term (1 year); other women and was sentenced to a link, or insane, or even acknowledged released pending trial.  A new stage of repression began with the arrest of Tatiana Velikanova - women who had grandchildren. She was sentenced to 4 years of strict regime and 5 years of exile camps. This was followed by 60-year-old Malva Landa (a member of the Moscow Helsinki Group) - 5 years of exile .
