Hrdlichka believed that a man came to America from Asia, and specifically the way, what was going colonization of the New World. And his conclusions were based not on considerations of desk and on field work carried out in the territory of two continents - America and Asia. In 1912, he specially came from the United States to Irkutsk, for here, in the Baikal region, according to him, was the cradle of the first Americans. A quarter-century later, he once again comes to the banks of the Angara to conduct new studies.
