Around the same time, when Woolley led his excavations in Alalakh and Marshall studied the Mohenjo-Daro, the American Paul Kozokov, flying over the Andes, found near the ancient city of Nazca a network of so-called Inca roads. Aerial photography has shown, however, that it is not expensive, because in most cases they are at the top of the mountains, and there are cut off. Professor Kozokov now claims that he found the greatest astronomical atlas of the world: he discovered the relationship between the liniyami- roads and astronomical dates, it suggests that some of these lines show the movement of the stars. If he is right, then we will be able to get acquainted with a new area for us knowledge and civilization of the ancient peoples who inhabited the Andes.
