The evolution of knowledge, whether in philosophy, politics, science or the design requires the generation, dissemination and validation of mimes. Hypertext will accelerate these processes. A paper environment controlled generation and distribution process is pretty good, but check - cumbersome. Once a bad idea reaches print, it gets a life of its own, and even its author can seldom something fundamentally change. Denial of bad ideas that leave no stone unturned to become just another publication, another scrap of paper. Days or years later, readers are confronted with the false idea unlikely to meet its refutation. Thus nonsense continues and continues to live. Only with the advent of hypertext critics will be able to thrust their barbs right into the flesh of his victims. Only with hypertext authors will be able to correct their mistakes without burning all the libraries, or by starting a massive advertising campaign, but simply revising their texts and marking the old versions of 'take it back'. Authors will be ways to quietly eat their words; it will give them some compensation for a severe criticism.
